China Pharmaceutical University and GoBroad Healthcare Group jointly held the signing and unveiling ceremony of the "China Pharmaceutical University - GoBroad Institute of Statistical Science" at Beijing GoBroad Hospital on February 10, 2025. This marks another milestone following their strategic cooperation agreement, signifying a deep partnership in biopharmaceutical statistical science to jointly promote the clinical translation of research成果 and the advancement of pharmaceutical scientific research.

Mr. Zheng Xiaoyu, Executive Director of Beijing GoBroad Hospital & Beijing GoBroad Boren Hospital and Executive CEO of GoBroad Clinical Research Center, extended a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to the leaders and experts from China Pharmaceutical University for their long-term support. He expressed his enthusiastic congratulations on the establishment of the research institute, emphasizing that China Pharmaceutical University is a leading institution in the pharmaceutical field in China, with strong faculty and research capabilities. This renewed collaboration to establish the Institute of Statistical Science will integrate superior resources, build a high-level research platform, cultivate top-tier statistical talent, and actively contribute to the development of China's pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.

Professor Yang Yong, Vice President of China Pharmaceutical University, highly praised GoBroad Healthcare Group’s innovative achievements in biopharmaceutical technology. He stated that China Pharmaceutical University would leverage its strengths in academia, research, and talent cultivation to collaborate with GoBroad in building a high-level research team. Professor Yan Fangrong, Director of the Department of Biostatistics at the School of Science, China Pharmaceutical University, delivered an insightful presentation titled "Applications and Challenges of the Bayesian Approach in Drug Registration Studies." His lecture provided valuable perspectives on statistical research directions in the pharmaceutical field, particularly in clinical trials. Moving forward, Professor Yan will serve as a statistical advisor for both the "China Pharmaceutical University - GoBroad Institute of Statistical Science" and GoBroad Healthcare Group, empowering GoBroad’s clinical research through statistical expertise and further solidifying the statistical foundation for its rapid scientific advancements.

Additionally, GoBroad’s research hospitals will serve as an off-campus mentor base for China Pharmaceutical University. Dr. Chen Chen, Head of the Statistics Department at GoBroad Clinical Research Center, will be appointed as an off-campus mentor for master's students in Applied Statistics at China Pharmaceutical University. He will collaborate with the Department of Biostatistics at the School of Science to jointly train graduate students in statistical sciences, providing high-quality educational resources that integrate theory and practice, ultimately cultivating outstanding talents to meet industry demands.
