About the Doctor

Dr. Jun Zhu has more than 20 years of clinical experience in hematologic malignancies and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). He graduated from Fudan University Shanghai Medical College and previously served for many years in the Department of Hematology at Shanghai General Hospital, where he received comprehensive and systematic subspecialty training.

Dr. Zhu has extensive expertise across the entire HSCT continuum, including pre-transplant evaluation, individualized conditioning regimen design, post-transplant infection prevention and management, immune reconstitution, and long-term follow-up. He is particularly skilled in salvage transplantation for complex and high-risk hematologic malignancies—especially refractory and relapsed peripheral T-cell lymphoma—accumulating a large number of successful cases.

As a key member of the team that developed the “Allogeneic HSCT Salvage Strategy for Refractory Malignant Hematologic Diseases,” Dr. Zhu contributed significantly to the optimization and standardization of transplant techniques. This work received the Second Prize of the Scientific and Technological Progress Award from both the Ministry of Education and the Chinese Medical Association. He has also achieved notable clinical outcomes in managing infections in neutropenic patients with fever.

Dr. Zhu has published extensively in leading international and domestic journals, including Clinical Infectious Diseases, Science Advances, Cancer Management and Research, Frontiers in Medicine, Chinese Journal of Hematology, and others. He has participated in multiple national and provincial research projects and is widely recognized for his academic contributions in transplantation and infection management.
