Dr. Zhihao Lu is a well-recognized expert in gastrointestinal malignancies in China. He has long specialized in the clinical management and research of gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, colorectal cancer, and other digestive system tumors. Dr. Lu holds a PhD in Oncology from Peking University and completed his postdoctoral research in oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the United States, gaining a strong international academic foundation and advanced clinical perspective.
As a recipient of national key young talent awards and the “Qingmiao” Young Talent Program of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, Dr. Lu has extensive experience in precision therapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and comprehensive management of gastrointestinal cancers. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of esophageal cancer, he received the “People’s Good Doctor – Jinshan Camellia Award for Outstanding Contribution” in 2020. He also serves in several important academic roles and actively promotes the standardization and advancement of gastrointestinal cancer care in China.
