Dr. Lan He has nearly two decades of clinical experience in hematology, with a long-standing focus on pediatric hematologic disorders and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). She has extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of severe aplastic anemia, pure red cell aplasia, primary immunodeficiency disorders, lymphoproliferative diseases, and hematologic critical illnesses. To date, she has performed more than 200 allogeneic HSCT procedures, demonstrating a solid technical foundation and strong capability in managing complex and high-risk cases.
Dr. He has also been deeply involved in tackling major rare and challenging cases. In collaboration with Peking Union Medical College Hospital, she contributed to the world’s first successful case of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for lysinuric protein intolerance (LPI) complicated with systemic lupus erythematosus. This work was published as a co–first author in the prestigious Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, drawing significant international attention and highlighting her innovation and professional impact in hematology and transplant medicine.
